I’m kinda happy i’m starting a new job.. i guess this one especially gives me the freedom to do my writing, and drawing on the side, so i guess everything is peachy.
The tour round the company headquarters where i hand in my manuscripts is quite huge, and located near a shopping district in central toyko, and the food around here is quite amazing. just one problem though, everything here is amazingly expensive. and i mean. EXPENSIVE. I usally get by with one of the 1000yen Set lunches, but that’s already 15 dollars, give or take. With that kind of upkeep, i really hope that advance on this month’s paycheck comes soon.
so today is kinda boring day, i met the artist that i’m supposed to be working for, shook hands and introduced myself to the assistants, got used to the workings in and out of the office area i work for, (which is all the way on the other side of town from my apartment…. the pain.)
By the Way, the weathergirl said that today would NINE BLEEDING DEGREES CELSIUS. It is bloody frigid, i’m telling you. oh. not to mention, the winds add to the cold. I’m wearing my scarf and coat like its London or something. Cold. i’m typing with gloves on. Need to reach for the heater.
On the other hand, i like the baths here. Yeah. BATHS. not those showers we have in Singapore. BATHS. you sit in one, and after you’re done, take a rinse. (milk after a bath is optional, but i get the obsession with it… highly refreshing.)
I’m in starbucks! haha. i’m going to be out shopping soon, meeting up with an old friend for dinner, and spend the post valentine’s day watching my top shows tonight.
granted that last one isn’t on tv but rather on my harddisk, its ok.
ok.
UNIQLO. I AM COMING!
